Healthcare terms & conditions
The terms that apply when you buy and use the TapHalo Care Bracelet, the Healthcare Healthcare Complete and the TapHalo Cloud services that come with them.
Last updated: 18 September 2026
One-off hardware prices
TapHalo Healthcare Complete is £95.00 and includes the bracelet and everything else for the first 12 months.
Optional Cloud after year one
After 12 months the service renews at £6.95 per month and can be cancelled at any time.
Records, not medical advice
Care records and medication entries document what happened. TapHalo does not provide medical or prescribing advice.
1. What you are buying
TapHalo Healthcare Complete (£95.00) is a single package. It includes the wearable NFC Care Bracelet with a printed QR fallback. Tapping or scanning it opens the emergency profile you choose to publish — emergency contacts, allergies, medication and GP details — with no app, battery, Wi-Fi or contract required by the bracelet itself.
The package also includes the full care record. Carers tap the wearer’s bracelet with a normal phone (no app) to record visits, meals, drinks, medication, washing and personal care, wellbeing checks, notes and photos — building a private care timeline that loved ones can follow.
The £95.00 price covers the first 12 months of everything: the live profile, unlimited updates, tap history, the private care timeline, customisable email and text alerts to loved ones, and backups.
2. TapHalo Cloud and the optional subscription
After the included first 12 months, the service renews at £6.95 per month. There is no contract and you can cancel at any time from your account.
If you do not subscribe, the bracelet keeps working: the NFC chip and QR code still open the link, and your profile remains visible. Cloud features such as notifications, tap history and ongoing timeline storage may be limited until you resubscribe.
3. Your account and activation
Each bracelet activates once, inside the owner account used at checkout. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for the accuracy of the emergency information you publish.
Only you (and carers you invite to a visit) can add or complete care records. Loved ones receiving notifications get email alerts only — they cannot see the profile or timeline unless you share access.
4. Acceptable use
You must only publish emergency information you have the right to share, and only record care visits that genuinely took place. You must not use TapHalo to store unlawful content, to misrepresent care, or to attempt to access another owner's records.
Medication entries are a record of what was given — they are record-keeping only. TapHalo does not provide medical advice, prescribe, or replace professional care judgement.
5. Delivery, returns and faults
Healthcare hardware is delivered to the UK delivery address you provide at checkout. If your bracelet arrives faulty or damaged, contact us within 30 days and we will replace or refund it.
Under UK consumer law you may cancel your hardware order within 14 days of delivery for a full refund, provided the product has not been activated. Once a bracelet is activated and linked to a personal emergency profile, the right to cancel that item is lost.
6. Liability and service availability
The bracelet opens the profile you publish; it is not a medical device, an alarm, or a substitute for calling emergency services. In an emergency always call 999 first.
We work to keep TapHalo Cloud available around the clock but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a UK consumer.
7. Changes to these terms
If we update these terms we will refresh the date above and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email. Continuing to use TapHalo after an update means you accept the new terms.
